Have you joined a gym and then trained the same three machines for six months? Do you want a programme without paying for a coach you cannot afford yet? The Workout Plan Generator builds a full training plan around your goal, your kit and the days you can train.

Programmes work because they repeat and progress. Random sessions feel productive and go nowhere in particular.

What is Workout Plan Generator?

It writes structured training plans. You say what you want, what you train with and how often you can get there, and the Workout Plan Generator returns named sessions with exercises, sets, reps and rest, plus a way to make each week slightly harder than the last.

What Comes In A Plan

  • A split that matches your days, from full body twice a week to a five day rotation.
  • Exercises restricted to the equipment you named.
  • Sets, reps and rest for each movement.
  • A warm up and cool down, when you leave that toggle on.
  • A progression scheme so week four is not identical to week one.

How Does Workout Plan Generator Work?

  1. Describe your goal, experience and schedule in the prompt box.
  2. Choose which AI engine writes the block.
  3. Set Goal, Split Type, Equipment and Session Length, then choose a difficulty.
  4. Generate and read the plan in the card below.
  5. Download the block as a Word or HTML file, or paste it into your training app.

Runs stay listed under the card during your visit, so a three day version and a four day version are both there when you decide which your week can hold.

OptionWhat it decidesWhere to start
Split TypeHow the week is dividedFull body on three days, Upper/lower on four
EquipmentWhich exercises are allowedExactly what you have, not what you wish you had
Session LengthHow many exercises fit45-60 min for most gym sessions
GoalRep ranges and exercise selectionBuild muscle, Strength or General fitness

The difficulty slider runs from Beginner through to the highest setting, and it changes volume as much as exercise choice. Keep the warm up and cool down toggle on, add the progression scheme so the plan builds, and turn on exercise swaps if a movement bothers a joint.

A Worked Example

Type: four days a week, full gym, want to build muscle, sixty minutes per session, bad lower back so no conventional deadlifts, intermediate lifter.

Set Split Type to Upper/lower, Equipment to Full gym, Session Length to 45-60 min and difficulty to Intermediate. The plan comes back as four named sessions with hinge patterns that spare the lower back, a weekly progression rule, and alternatives listed under each main lift.

What it does well

  • Matches the split to the days you actually have
  • Respects the equipment list rather than assuming a full gym
  • Builds progression in instead of leaving it to memory
  • Free and unlimited, so you can rebuild it every block

What it cannot replace

  • Coaching on technique, which no written plan can provide
  • Medical advice for an existing injury
  • Your own judgement on how hard a set really felt

Caution Start lighter than you think you need for the first week of any new plan. If you have a heart condition, a recent injury or have been inactive for a long time, get medical clearance before starting.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many days a week should I train?

Three is enough for most goals if the sessions are consistent. Four or five suits people with more time, but adherence matters more than the number.

Will it tell me what weight to lift?

It gives rep ranges and effort guidance rather than exact loads, since it cannot see your strength. Choose a weight that leaves one or two reps in reserve.

Can it work around an injury?

Name the injury and the movements that hurt, and it avoids them. For anything diagnosed or recent, follow your physiotherapist's guidance first.

How long should I follow one plan?

Six to twelve weeks. Changing programmes every fortnight prevents the progression from ever showing up in your numbers.

The best plan is the one you repeat long enough to see the numbers move. Generate a block, follow it as written, and only regenerate when your schedule or your equipment changes.

The generator is above this article. Enter your goal, your kit and your days, and read your first week.
