Have you read the same paragraph four times and still not got it? Textbooks explain things once, in one register, and if that register is not yours you are stuck. The Concept Explainer takes the idea you are stuck on and explains it again, at the level you pick and in the style that works for you.

What is Concept Explainer?

It is a tool for second explanations. You type the concept, say how deep you want to go, and pick how it should be explained. The Concept Explainer returns that explanation, and because the style is a dropdown you can ask for the same idea as an analogy, then as a step by step breakdown, and see which one lands.

That is the real trick here. Understanding usually fails because of the framing, not the difficulty, and the fastest fix is a different framing.

One Concept, Four Explanations

Take recursion, which defeats most people learning to program. Set Explanation Style to ELI5 and you get the mirrors facing each other version. Switch to Analogy and you get something like Russian dolls. Switch to Step-by-Step and you get the call stack unwound one frame at a time. Switch to Technical with Level set to Advanced and you get base cases and stack depth.

Same concept, four attempts, about a minute. One of them will be the one that sticks, and which one is personal.

How Does Concept Explainer Work?

The page is deliberately plain. A box to type in, a list of engines, a folded settings panel and a button, with the answer appearing below.

  1. Type the concept. Add the context, such as the course or the chapter it came from.
  2. Choose an AI model from the selector.
  3. Set Explanation Style, Level, Output Format and Length.
  4. Generate and read the explanation.
  5. Change one setting and generate again. The activity history panel below the result keeps this session's generations.
OptionWhat it changesWhere to start
Explanation StyleHow the idea is framedAnalogy first, Step-by-Step if that fails
LevelAssumed knowledgeBeginner, then raise it once it clicks
Output FormatLayout of the explanationWith Examples, since examples do the work
LengthHow much you getNormal, which is a readable page

Define Key Terms is worth leaving on when you are new to a subject, because half of what makes a topic hard is vocabulary. The Depth slider controls how far under the surface it goes before stopping.

Try to explain it back After reading, close the page and say the idea out loud in your own words. If you stall, generate again with a different style. That stall is the most reliable signal you will get.

Using It Without Fooling Yourself

What it does well

  • Reframes a stuck idea in seconds, which no textbook can do.
  • Lets you climb from ELI5 to Technical on the same concept.
  • Defines the vocabulary that the source assumed you had.

What to watch

  • A clear explanation feels like understanding. It is not the same thing until you can reproduce it.
  • Analogies break down eventually. Ask where the analogy stops holding.
  • Check anything technical against your course material before relying on it.

EizTools runs a free suite of AI tools. Nothing here is gated, nothing is rationed, and the engine handling your request is your choice rather than ours. Once you understand the concept and need your own messy notes turned into something readable, the Content Rewriter handles that step. Advanced options are tuned per tool rather than shared, so the settings match the job in front of you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Concept Explainer free to use?

Yes. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to pay, nothing counted. Explain the same concept as many times as it takes.

Which Explanation Style should I try first?

Analogy for an abstract idea, Step-by-Step for a process, Example-Based for anything you have to apply. If one fails, switch rather than rereading it.

Does it work for advanced material?

Yes. Set Level to Advanced or Expert and Explanation Style to Technical. Verify the detail against your source, as you would with any explanation.

Can I use it for subjects outside science and maths?

Yes. Legal doctrines, economic models, grammar rules and historical causes all suffer from the same one framing problem.

Being stuck on a concept is rarely about intelligence and almost always about the angle of approach. The cheapest fix is another angle, and until now that meant finding another book or another person. Type the thing you are stuck on into the box above, set the style to Analogy, and see if the second explanation does what the first one could not.
