Has a headline ever come back from someone in FULL CAPITALS? Do you retype names because the export made every letter lowercase? Case Converter on EizTools switches text between upper, lower, title and sentence case in one step, including the tricky rules that make title case look right.

What is Case Converter?

Case Converter changes the capitalisation of text without touching anything else. Four cases cover nearly every need: uppercase, lowercase, title case with the important words capitalised, and sentence case with just the first letter.

Title case is the one worth having help with. Real title case does not capitalise every word. Short prepositions and articles stay lowercase unless they start the title, which is the rule a simple find and replace cannot follow.

How Does Case Converter Work?

Paste your text into the prompt box, then set Output / Target to the case you want. Choose a model above the button and press Generate. The converted text appears in the output card, with Copy sitting directly on the result.

Structure set to Simple is right for a plain case change, since it keeps the tool from reorganising anything. Paste multiple lines and they all convert together, which is what makes this quicker than fixing headings one at a time in a document.

Look at the first and last rows. Title case left "of" and "the" lowercase in the middle of the title, and it kept MSc as written rather than flattening it to Msc. Those two behaviours are the difference between a case converter and a search and replace.

Note Title case conventions differ between style guides. If your organisation follows a particular one, say so in the Custom Instructions box and the same rule gets applied every time.

Tips For Getting It Right

  • Convert the whole list at once so every heading follows the same rule.
  • Name your style guide if you have one, since guides disagree about short words.
  • Check acronyms and brand names after converting, as those are the usual exceptions.
  • Sentence case is safer than title case for anything long, such as an email subject line.

Proper title case

Short words stay lowercase in the middle, which is what makes a title look edited.

Whole lists at once

Paste every heading together and they all come back following the same rule.

Acronyms respected

Capitalised initials and mixed case names survive rather than being flattened.

EizTools is free to use, needs no account, and gives every tool its own options rather than one shared box. The model handling the conversion is picked on the page, not fixed for you. Once your headings are consistent and the article under them still needs writing, the Blog Writer is where that work happens.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Case Converter handle title case properly?

Yes. It keeps short prepositions and articles lowercase inside a title while capitalising the significant words, which is the rule most style guides follow and what simple tools usually get wrong.

Will it break my acronyms?

It should recognise them and leave them alone. Check afterwards anyway, particularly for unusual brand names with internal capitals, since those are the cases most likely to be misread.

Can I convert several headings at once?

Yes, and you should. Paste them all together, one per line, so the same rule is applied consistently across the whole set rather than heading by heading over an afternoon.

Which case should I use for email subject lines?

Sentence case usually performs better and reads as less shouty. Full capitals look like marketing and can trip spam filters, while title case on a long subject line looks oddly formal.

Capitalisation is one of those details nobody praises and everybody notices when it is wrong. Fixing a whole set of headings in one paste, with the short word rule handled properly, takes it off your list entirely. Paste your headings into Case Converter above.
